The project proposes a contemporary hotel within the historic Radvila estate in central Vilnius, overlooking the Neris River. Rather than reconstructing the former palace, the design treats its archaeological remains as an integral part of the new architecture, transforming the ground floor into a publicly accessible exhibition and social space where the history of the site becomes part of the everyday experience of the building. The hotel is composed of three volumes connected by transparent atriums, creating visual links between the preserved ruins, the surrounding park and the river. The fragmented massing responds to the scale of the historic city, while the sloping roofs offer a contemporary interpretation of Vilnius Old Town roofscapes. The project brings together heritage, hospitality and public space, creating a new destination where historic layers are not simply preserved, but become an active part of contemporary city life.
